How to Download AION 2 Global on PURPLE: Install & Play Guide

Step 1: Use LagoFast If AION 2 Global Is Not Available in Your Region

6. Open PURPLE or the official AION 2 website again and try to access the page, download the game, or log in.

Check the result: If the page now loads or authentication succeeds, continue with the installation steps below.

If you still receive an explicit “not available in your region” message, check whether your NC account is eligible to use the international service. Step 2: Download the Official PURPLE Launcher

1. Open the official PURPLE download page, which is also linked from the AION 2 Global website.
2. Download the Windows installer.
3. Run the installer and complete the installation.
4. Open PURPLE and wait for the update to finish.

If PURPLE is already installed, update the existing launcher first.

Why this matters: Older AION 2 instructions may direct you to the Korean or Taiwan service. Installing those clients will not give you access to the international servers.

Step 3: Log In to Your NC Account or Create One

Use an account and email address that you control so you can complete verification and recover access later if necessary.

1. Open PURPLE.
2. If you are prompted to select a service region, choose Global.
3. Log in using your existing NC account and your usual login method.
4. For a new account, select Sign Up and follow the registration steps.
5. Enter your account information correctly, verify your email, and return to PURPLE.

The “Global” launcher setting and your account's registered country are two different things. NC's PURPLE guidance explains that the account region can determine which games are displayed in the launcher. Simply selecting Global does not guarantee access to every game.

If you previously registered through Google or another login provider, use the same method to avoid accidentally creating a different account.

Step 4: Find and Download AION 2 Global

1. Find AION 2 in the PURPLE game list.
2. Make sure it is the international version of the service.
3. Select the installation or download option.
4. Choose a drive with enough free space for the size shown in PURPLE, plus additional space for updates.
5. Wait for the download, unpacking, and patch installation to finish before launching the game.

If AION 2 does not appear at all: Make sure PURPLE is updated and that you are logged into the correct account. Then check whether your account region meets the service requirements. Downloading a client from another region will not solve the problem if you cannot access the international version.

If the download appears stuck: Check whether PURPLE is still writing data to the drive. During unpacking, network traffic may temporarily drop to zero. Restart the download only if both the progress and disk activity have stopped.

Step 5: Launch AION 2 and Select a Server

1. Launch AION 2 from the game list in PURPLE.
2. Complete any account or security checks that appear.
3. Select a server region and world.
4. Create your character and enter the game.

The international service uses servers in Europe, Japan, North America, and South America. 

Compare the LagoFast route with the server region you actually selected in the game.
