Is this compatible with previous saves? Yes, you can freely add or remove this mod and its variants at any time.
Is there a comprehensive feature list? No, I’m afraid I don’t have anything that formal at the moment. Please rest assured that vehicles added in this way will integrate into the game naturally. They use the same batteries, have the same types of storage, accept comparable upgrades (to a degree), and their headlights distress Crabsquids just like standard vehicles.
What major features are still missing?
A "Seamoth-class" vehicle. No walkable interior—you enter directly into the pilot seat. (January 2024)
Auto-pilot mode. The tricky part is adding a new PDA page to select a destination.
A full suite of autopilot voice lines (November 2021)
Arm modules. Honestly, I haven’t felt the need to implement this yet, but I’d like VehicleFramework to support walkers in the future.
Positional Damage. I'd like it if certain modules could be knocked offline by damage.
Additional Pilot HUD. intended to display information on **Storage** and individual batteries, as well as positional damage sustained.

Crabsquid Protection Module
Better glass shading? The Atrama canopy is currently opaque. This could be fixed by splitting it into an "inner" and "outer" layer, each with a single normal map.
Dock Interaction? For certain vehicle types, docking may be allowed in a Moonpool or Cyclops.

Steering Wheel and Animations. The Seamoth steering column can probably be repurposed.
**Console Commands:** Vehicle Framework adds several console commands that can be used by typing them into the game's console. The console is typically opened by pressing Shift+Enter. Below is a list of these commands and their functions:
vfhelp: Writes a PDA note to your screen listing all console command names.
give vf upgrades:Adds every upgrade for VF vehicles to your inventory.
Give VF Seamoth Upgrades:Adds every Seamoth VF upgrade to your inventory
Give VF Prawn Upgrades:Adds every Prawn VF upgrade to your inventory.
give vf cyclops upgrades:Adds every Cyclops VF upgrade to your inventory.
logvfupgradesWrites to your BepInEx log all the VF upgrade mods you have installed.
logvfvehicles:Writes to your BepInEx log all the vehicle mods you have installed.
logvfvoicesWrites all available vehicle voices to your BepInEx log.
vfspawncodes:Writes a PDA note to your screen with all vehicle/upgrade spawn codes (the spawn console command).
Dock Closest: attempts to forcibly undock the nearest vehicle from its docking bay
vfdestroy [vehicle type]: attempts to forcibly delete the nearest vehicle you specify (e.g., "vfdestroy exosuit" or "vfdestroy odyssey")
