Definitive Unreal "Engine.ini" changes with the goal to remove most stutters, improve performance and stability, decrease input latency, improve picture clarity. All with no visual loss.
Stellar Blade - Ultimate Engine Tweaks
After months ofUE testing, I would like to share my definitive custom "Engine.ini" changes for the game.
My goal was to just include as many optimizations as possible (both for CPU/GPU/RAM/SSD) in order to remove most stuttering, improve performance, reduce input latency and improve picture clarity (e.g. by optimizing Film Grain & removing Chromatic Aberration, optimizing DLSS/FSR Upscaling and Anti-Aliasing, reducing ghosting and shimmering) all without any visual loss nor introducing glitches or crashes.
If you want to knowexactlywhat every single optimization does and what their combined result is, have a lookhere
What to choose between the "VRR" and "No VRR" mod variants? VRR stands forVariable Refresh Rate, which can translate to G-Sync for NVIDIA or AMD Freesync for AMD. You need to cross check if it is enabled both on your NVIDIA/AMD Control Panel and the Display itself (Monitor/TV) If yes on both, use the "VRR" variant of the mod. If no, use the "No VRR" variant instead.
You can directly download myEngine.inito paste/replace in:
%localappdata%\SB\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
(Press Win + R , type the path above and click Enter to open the folder directly)
then Right-Click on it -> Properties -> make sure the "Read-Only" box is selected -> Apply/OK
