CNS - Custom Nanosuit System

Compatibilitiy/Setup Guide for outfit mod creators [HERE]


Installation / How To Setup:

• Install The Latest Stellar Blade UE4SS Release [UE4SS For Stellar Blade] (last tested with v6) -DO NOT USE DEV VERSION!!
  

• Download the latest release
• Extract the files from within the downloaded zip folder
• Copy the extracted `ue4ss` folder, and `dwmapi.dll` files to your games `SB/Binaries/Win64` folder
• Done
  

• Install The Latest Custom Nanosuit System
  

• Download the latest release of this mod
• Extract the files from within the downloaded zip folder
• Copy the extracted `SB` folder and merge it with your games `SB` folder. (ie, copy it into the root StellarBlade folder)
• Done
  

Note: Use a program such as winrar, winzip, 7zip, etc - to unzip the downloaded zip archive then copy the actual files. do not copy the zip files into your game folders.

The pak file for this mod MUST be named `DekCNS_P.pak` so DO NOT change the name!


BIG DISCLAIMER:OUTFIT MODS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN SPECIFICALLY CREATED FOR THIS SYSTEM, WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE UI, AND MAY CAUSE VARIOUS VISUAL ISSUES WITH COMPATIBLE MODS THAT REFERENCE THE SAME DEFAULT ASSETS!!

WHY THIS CAN HAPPEN?Because they override the default game assets rather than create new assets.

HOWdo you know if skin mod X is compatible? Easy! It will have some kind of MODNAME.dekcns.json file within its download!

WHAThappens if you use some non CNS skin mod anyway? At best, it will always override the default outfit (for whatever the skin normally overrides), and at worst, it will override default materials entirely, which can cause severe visual glitches (when any outfit that references that material is equipped)
