Mod Introduction
The most advanced smoking system in gaming.
New dynamic smoking. You can now smoke for way longer and you can also keep the cigarette/cigar in your mouth.
Have a truly immersive experience: smoking while walking around and interacting with npcs, gunfights, riding horse, playing poker, sitting by the fire, chopping firewood and much more. You can even smoke during cutscenes. Additionally, you have easy access to a menu for various scenarios. The mod is fully compatible with other mods, including Seats and all role-playing mods.
Features:
The default key for smoking cigarette is N, and for cigar it's comma (,)
Tip: you can use N for controlling the cigar too after lighting it up. I allowed it because it's closer to WASD
1. Quick Smoke: Tap key to just quick smoke.
2. Longer Smoking: to long smoke. (If you hold for over 2 seconds you will leave the cigarette in mouth instead)
3. Move to mouth: while smoking to move the cigarette/cigar to your mouth and free your hands. This way you can do chores, carry bodies, shoot, hunt, grill meat and more.
4. Take back in hand: Hold key while cigarette/cigar is in your mouth to take it back in your hand.
5. Throw away: While smoking, Press key to throw away your cigarette/cigar.
6. Open scenarios menu: Hold K to open a menu with scenarios like sitting on the ground, leaning on things etc. (You can also add scenarios in the settings).
7. Manual smoking mode: By default you smoke automatically, but if you press Y you can also take a puff when you want.
Configuration: All keys are configurable, including many more options inside SmokingComplete.ini
Controller support:
Support is slightly limited. Manual smoking is limited to keyboard for now and you will not be able to start smoking during poker and other mini games/cutscenes. I recommend you just keep the cigarette in your mouth before you sit down.

Notes:
The scenarios menu includes a submenu with the regular smoking scenarios that are built into the game. I included them because the animations are good. Unfortunately, like any other scenarios, you can't move during them and you drop the cigarette after you exit.
Known limitations:
Scenarios with other props, such as newspapers, don't work great. To avoid that, you can put the cigarette in your mouth for them or use the manual smoking mode.
Starting to run while lighting up the cigarette will sometimes cancel the lighting up animation.
Lighting a cigarette on horseback will sometimes skip the animation, because it is currently playing a different animation. (Hand transition, petting horse)
Installation:
!! The mod requires Online Content Unlocker OR version.dll. You can also use LITE - Multiplayer Asset Enabler (this is probably the best option since it doesn't break anything).
1. Install the requirements and place SmokingComplete.asi and SmokingComplete.ini in your game folder where RDR2.exe is.
Don't put it in the lml folder. It's not an LML mod and it will not show up in the Mod Manager.
Updates & Support:
This mod was built from scratch and it's not restored content. The amount of work required to fully integrate this into the game was insane.
I will continue to provide critical bugfixes and help.
[size=2]I have no plans to add cigars (After reconsidering, v2.0 includes full cigar smoking).
Pipes will not be added as a full system, but a new static pipe scenario is now available in the menu since v3.5.
Compatibility:
The mod is extremely compatible with pretty much everything, including Seats, Roleplayer's Dream etc.
You can use retextures like the Tarantino Red Apple Cigarettes mod.
It is also compatible with the Cigarillo mod, which makes the cigarette brown, but you need to change USE_ALTERNATIVE_CIGARETTE_MODEL in the settings.

- To start smoking(simple explanation): press the (without holding it) and use . Then select Cigarette or Cigar.
- To control the cigarette, press the DPad right(don't hold it). You will see a prompt that says "Throw/Move Cigarette", then hold RB to move cigarette or tap RB to throw it away.
- To open the scenarios menu just press the satchel button and then open the Scenarios menu(DPad up).
Gameplay details:
- While smoking you will regenerate over time. This is useful if you don't want to spam items in a gunfight. You will gain a bit more Dead Eye if you hold the cigarette in your hand (out of combat).
- Drawing your gun will automatically put the cigarette in your mouth before you draw your gun. This is configurable
- If you have your gun drawn out and you try to start smoking, you will use your free hand to quickly light up a cigarette and leave it in your mouth.
